Is this nutrition label generator free?
Yes. Label calculation and PNG, SVG and PDF export are free without an account; free PNG exports carry a small watermark. An optional Pro plan is coming soon.
Is a calculated label legal in the EU?
Article 31(4) of Regulation 1169/2011 allows declared values to be based on a calculation from known average values of the ingredients used.
Which countries does it cover?
The EU/UK table format follows Regulation 1169/2011 and is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Dutch and Polish. The US format follows 21 CFR 101.9.
Do I need a lab test?
Not usually for small producers, but for fermented foods, fried foods or nutrition claims a lab analysis is recommended.
