About Free Nutrition Label

Free Nutrition Label (freenutritionlabel.com) is a free, browser-based nutrition label generator for small food producers: home bakers, jam makers, market traders, cafés and small brands in the EU, the UK and the US.

What it does

• Calculates an EU/UK nutrition declaration (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, Annex XV) per 100 g and per portion with %RI.
• Creates a US Nutrition Facts panel (21 CFR 101.9).
• Prints labels in 8 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Dutch and Polish.
• Detects common allergens and emphasises them in the ingredient list.
• Exports PNG, SVG and PDF. Works offline once installed.

Data and method

Nutrient values come from USDA FoodData Central, SR Legacy (public domain). Energy uses the EU Annex XIV conversion factors; rounding follows the European Commission's 2012 guidance. See data sources and methodology.
